John has played the TONY winning roles of Max Bialystock and Roger Debris in the Broadway production of THE PRODUCERS. He is currently playing the featured role of Franz Liebkind. He was an original company member of the Broadway production of JEKYLL & HYDE (Atlantic Recordings/Broadway Television Networks). He has toured in productions of CATS and KISS ME KATE.

Off-Broadway, John created roles in Howard Crabtree's WHEN PIGS FLY! (RCA Recordings), and was also an original member of BATBOY The Musical. He has performed regionally in productions of A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE, CHESS, CHILDREN OF EDEN, and MASTER CLASS. John can be heard on theatrical recordings of VIOLET, PARUSIA, and on BROADWAY'S GREATEST GIFTS and on Linda Eder's CHRISTMAS STAYS THE SAME. He has appeared on AS THE WORLD TURNS, LATE NIGHT WITH CONAN O'BRIEN, BRAVO presents LINDA EDER IN CONCERT, and VICTORIA'S SECRET FASHION SHOW on ABC.

John is a Graduate of The State University of New York at Purchase.
