T. Shyvonne Stewart
T. Shyvonne was Assistant Director of Student Engagement at Georgetown University before she left to pursue the arts full-time. Within three years, she made her Broadway debut in The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical after doing the first national tour. Since then, she has toured in the #1 musical in the world, The Lion King. Today, she continues to grace the Broadway stage in The Lion King when she is not doing other projects. T. Shyvonne also originated the role of Kaia in the Off-Broadway World Premiere of This is Not a Drill. Select Regional Theatre: Joanne in Rent, Deb in Elf, Layla in Treaty, Julie in Tootsie, Sister Act. She doesn't just grace the stage, but she has also appeared on your screen in "FBI," "The Equalizer," "The Blacklist," "Power Book II: Ghost," and "Partner Track". In addition, she also sang in "Kennedy Center Honors" and "Christmas in Washington" for five years, in front of previous Presidents of the United States. As a voiceover artist, she plays many characters in some of your favorite graphic audiobooks and played "Keisha" alongside Jane Lynch in the podcast "Love, Murder, Florida". She attended Spelman College in Atlanta, GA, one of two Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) for women that has been ranked the #1 HBCU for 19 consecutive years. Shameless plug!
