Alex has composed, conducted, and performed for the film, stage, and radio for over 20 years. Starting his career as a session musician in Nashville, TN, Alex played with artists such as Ben Folds, Gary Fields, and Ashley Robertson. He composed music for soap operas such as Guiding Light and Days of Our Lives. After receiving his Master's from the University of Bristol in England, he moved to New York and began his career as a film composer, music director, and keyboardist. He has played on Broadway and off-Broadway productions of shows that include Wicked, Newsies, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Cabaret, Chicago, and Hair.
