Rebecca Pitcher
Rebecca Pitcher, best known for her portrayal of Christine Daae in the Andrew Lloyd-Webber production of The Phantom of the Opera.
Described as having "...a glorious voice, and a luminous presence," Rebecca has appeared in over 3000 performances of Phantom including the US, Broadway and Singapore. Miss Pitcher recently appeared as Mary Poppins in The Beck Center production of Mary Poppins. She also appeared in the Off-Broadway production of "Till Divorce Do Us Part," and as Lydia and Dusty in two newly mounted productions of "Mardi Gras" and "The Last Word" at The York Theatre in New York City. Other favorite roles include: Amalia in "She Loves Me," Christine in the Yeston-Koppitt version of Phantom, Grace Farrell in "Annie," Nimue in "Camelot," Cassandra in the New York Musical Theatre Festival production of "Pride and Prejudice," Rose in "Street Scene," and Louella Parsons in "Saving Aimee" written by Kathy Lee Gifford. Rebecca's concert performances include the Mozart Mass in C Minor, Carmina Burana, Requiem by John Rutter, Handel's Messiah, and appearances with The Michael Amante Orchestra. She made her Carnegie Hall debut in 2011 as the soprano soloist in "The Golden Boy" composed by Freddie Mercury.
Rebecca is a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University, and The Peabody Institute. She was also a young artist at Ashlawn Highlands music festival and with the Pittsburgh Opera Center at Duquesne. She would like to thank her family and friends for their love and support.
