A Theatrical Rock and Roll Concert Showcase
Unlike Anything you’ve ever experienced.

APAP
at The China Club, 268 W. 47th, New York,

First came Hair, then, Jesus Christ Superstar
-- which led to Rent and Spring Awakening.
Now comes THE 12, an original rock musical
written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright,
ROBERT SCHENKKAN, with Music, Lyrics and
Story concept by award-winning composer,
NEIL BERG.
A free showcase performance will
take place at The China Club, 268 W. 47th
St at 7pm on Jan. 10th, 2010.
The 12 takes one of the most well-known
stories in history and explores the least-known
and most intriguing aspects of it: how twelve
ordinary individuals torn apart by the unthinkable
death of their leader came together to create
one of the most powerful movements ever
known to mankind.
A thrilling rock and roll concert set
in the context of an underground rock band
performing what might be their last concert
together, the 12 features twelve Broadway
and Rock stars... including: RON BOHMER
(Phantom,
Les Mis,
Sunset Blvd) as "Peter,"
JEREMEY KUSHNIER (Rent,
Footloose) as “Thomas,”
PATTI RUSSO (Featured singer from Meatloaf,
Trans Siberian Orchestra) as "Mother Mary"
and "The Devil," MICHAEL LANNING (Broadway’s
The Civil War, toured with Fleetwood Mac,
Larry Gatlin, and George Harrison) as “Simon,"
SOPHIA RAMOS (VH1’s Best Undiscovered Artist,
toured as featured vocalist with Rage Against
the Machine and Soundgarden in Lollapalooza
tour) as “Mary Magdelene,” DAN SPITZ (former
lead guitar from ANTHRAX), along with GREGORY
PORTER (Ain't Nothing But the Blues) as
“Thaddeus,” and GERARD CANONICO (Spring
Awakening, American Idiot) as “Jimmy”. Musical
Director, WENDY BOBBITT CAVETT. Directed
by Richard Seyd and Produced by Adam Friedson
and Left Field Productions.
Performing original rock and roll songs
in the classic rock and roll styles of U2,
The Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie,

They feared for their lives even as they
grieved for his. How did these twelve “ordinary”
people rise above their greatest fears to
transform the world? Don’t miss THE 12.
“It’s a powerful rock and roll experience
