Grumpy Old Men: The Musical GRUMPY OLD MEN is having its next major reading in NYC in October of 2008 starring Emmy Award winning actor Christopher Lloyd (Taxi, Back to the Future) and Tony Award winning legend George Hearn (La Cauge Aux Folles, Sweeney Todd) in the lead roles, along with Carole Kane, Conrad Schuck, Vicki Lewis (Suddenly Susan) and Josh Molina (West Wing). The Man Who Would Be Kind THE MAN WHO WOULD BE KING just finished a major reading/workshop at the wonderful Rubicon Theater in Ventura, California. We are thrilled to report that joining the creative team is TONY, EMMY and PULITZER nominated writer and director, Moises Kaufman (I Am My Own Wife, The Laramie Project, Gross Indecencies: The Trials of Oscar Wilde). Moises will act as Dramaturg and his theater company, Tetonic, will act as executive producer. The musical has been optioned by producer Adam Friedson (Dame Edna, Bill Maher, By The Waters Of Babylon). A regional production will be next, with the hopes of a national tour and Broadway run to follow.
